With more than 30 years of experience in the custom ironwork industry, Chuck leads our fabrication team to ensure each and every step is done with precision. Creator of the term, "queed," (the hybrid of quality and speed), Chuck aims for fast delivery times while still maintaining high standards.

Over the last 15 years, Jarrod has consulted hundreds of businesses. He's built a 7-figure marketing agency as well as a 7-figure software company - but is excited to finally "get his hands dirty" with a physical business. The events that led to URBN Pools

JARROD DISCOVERS SHIP...

November 2015

While doing research on Pinterest for a pending home build, Jarrod accidentally discovers a company in Australia who is building swimming pools - wait for it... out of shipping containers! Idea planted!

CHUCK SHARES LOVE OF STEEL

July 2017

Jarrod and Mandy (Chuck's daughter) start building a custom home. Chuck's company, Wellspring Iron, builds the exterior doors, stairs, railings, interior barn doors, and more. Chuck let's Jarrod help in the build process. Jarrod falls in love with iron work.

MULTIPLE CONVOS TRANSPIRE

2018, 2019, 2020

Jarrod initiates 5 or 6 conversations with Chuck about building swimming pools out of shipping containers. While Chuck wasn't interested in adding any new products to his business, he said he was more than happy to help Jarrod build one for his own home.

POOL BUILD

January 2021

Jarrod discovered that the current wait time for most reputable pool companies in Utah is over a year and a half. Not only does this persuade him to build his own shipping container pool, he realizes there's a huge opportunity to serve his local market, let alone nationally, or even globally.

BUSINESS FOUNDED

March 2021

After doing so much research and development, Jarrod felt confident he and Chuck could create a killer product right here in the USA. So he reopened the conversation of forming a business to build shipping container pools. This time around, Chuck said "YES" and URBN Pools was formed. Let's Go!!!
